I was just wondering if in an exam I want to use code seen in class from a specific algorithm, for example the fingerprint in Karp-Rabin algorithm, are we allowed to call the function as if it exists? Do i have to explain it? and if i want to call the KR fingerprint function but dont remember the exact name of the function used in class, is it ok (assuming i explain well which function i meant in hebrew). Of course this is why we are allowed to bring reference sheets to the exam, but I just want to be sure in case something is missing and i deicide i need it.

We will either give you the function's signature, or allow reasonable deviations from the exact way it is used.
