תוכלו לחדד בבקשה מה התכוונתם שנבדוק כאן? (שקופית 13) (הוגדר לפני כן שdiff param עובדת לפי גבול, לא כל כך הבנתי מה צריך לשאול כאן)

The function NR “assumes” that deriv is indeed the derivative of
func. We supply a default argument, the good-ole diff param of
the function (numeric derivative). Do check the mechanism by which
we do this (not the first one that comes to mind).

The way the function NR was defined, it had a default parameter
def NR(func, deriv=None, …
and in the course of execution this was replaced by
deriv = diff_param(func)

You may wonder why we did not directly defined
def NR(func, deriv = diff_param(func) …

What we suggested in class is that you try this for yourselves, and see that indeed it does not work.
